- If your leather jacket is dirty, do not wash your leather jacket with soap or detergent.
- Do not dehydrated under direct ray of the sun.
- Wipe the dust with the soft wet cloth and hang it at the shade place. Let it dry on a hanger where there is plenty of air circulation.
- Rub smoothly the leather jacket with leather conditioner or body lotion at least once a month.
- Only dry clean leather as the last resort. Make sure that you take it to a cleaner that specialize in cleaning leather products.
Safekeeping your Leather Jacket
- Do not store your leather jacket in plastic bags or other nonporous covers.
- Always hang your leather jacket on wide padded hangers and hang it in the place where is the good ventilation.
- If the jacket must be stored in a garment bag, keep it open for ventilation.
- Apply a little leather conditioner or body lotion when the leather is nearly dry to restore flexibility.
